Prior to becoming a Staffing Coordinator with Crown Services Kansas City office, Diontae Scott was an honorable member of our United States Army. While enrolled, he fulfilled the role of Combat Engineer and Masonry Specialist. He completed his basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia.

Diontae thoroughly enjoyed serving his country as a member of the United States Armed Forces. Being a part of this cohesive group of soldiers instilled deeply rooted strength that consistently resonates within his daily interactions. Becoming one with his comrades taught Diontae the importance of perseverance and working tirelessly to find a solution to any problem. Where there’s a will there’s a way and no obstacle placed in front of Diontae dared to prosper. Against all odds, Diontae stood firm with his fellow infantrymen in the field and endured with tenacity.

As a 12W Combat Carpentry and Masonry Specialist, Diontae was responsible for erecting the foundation of various Army establishments. He would construct and maintain rigging devices, trusses and other structural assemblies. While serving, Diontae learned how to operate heavy machinery and band together with his associates to reach a common goal. Mastering beneficial traits such as leadership, collaboration with teammates and reliability have translated very well to his current role with Crown Services. These skills have helped him when it comes to exchanging ideas and opinions with his colleagues and lending a helping hand in every possible situation.

Diontae found that serving our country in the Army resulted in a terrific sense of community. Diontae met several important people during his tenure.
