Employment Journey with Holly McGee

This week we are excited to feature Holly McGee who started with Crown Services in a temporary position and became a full-time staff member.

How did you find out about Crown Services?

I applied on Careerbuilder and was recruited to begin working as a Recruiter in September 2014. I completed an eight hour working interview on my first day and came back the second day after they asked if I would be interested in working on a temporary basis.

What was your first and subsequent temporary assignments before becoming a permanent staff member at Crown Services?

I would call employees who applied through Careerbuilder or ZipRecruiter, greet people and hand out applications to potential candidates who walked in the door.

How long did it take you to become permanent - how did your roles and responsibilities change?

I became a Full-Time employee after one month and I became more involved with CPS, I built greater rapport with clients and conducted interviews.

What are the most important skills you have developed?

I have learned a great deal about using computers, interacting with people and everything that there is to know about CPS.

What accomplishment with Crown Services are you most proud of?

I love helping employees find jobs to better their careers and provide for their families.

What is your favorite memory of working at Crown Services?

Every day that I am able to help different people find the job they want to be placed in is momentous.
