Thankful for Job

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what we are grateful for. Be thankful for the jobs you have had over your lifetime.

Thanksgiving Day is the annual national holiday in the United States celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. We may hit snooze when the alarm goes off. Sometimes we may feel stressed at work. We may feel that the day or week is dragging.  We may even have a difference of opinion with a boss or colleague.  However, we need to count our blessings.

  1. Are you thankful for your job?
  2. Are you thankful for your salary and benefits?
  3. Are you thankful for the type of job you have?
  4. Are you thankful for the company you work for?
  5. Are you thankful for your wonderful, team oriented colleagues?
  6. Are you thankful for your job skills?
  7. Are you thankful to be able to learn new skills for the future?
  8. Are you thankful for the short commute?

Whether you love your job or hate your job, you can definitely be thankful for it.  Be thankful for what your job has given you and your family. The easiest way to be happy with your situation is to find gratitude for your job right now.

It is always easier to find a better job when you are currently employed.  It is an employee market and the perfect time to search for your dream job. We spend over 8 hours a day/ 40 hours a week working with our colleagues at a company.  This is a good part of our journey through life so we should love what we do.  Thanksgiving Day is a perfect time to reflect on what we are thankful for in our careers and to think about goals for the future. By figuring out what you're grateful for at your job, you will gain clarity and vision on the role, and the next step in your career. Find your passion in your job.
