Position Requirements for the Lithographic Press Operator -Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience setting up and running sheet-fed presses. -Prior expertise in operating sheet-fed press equipment. -Strong team-oriented approach. -Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately. -Proficiency in English for comprehending written and verbal instructions. -Capability to stand for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and frequently lift 35 lbs. -Continuous focus and adaptability to work flexible schedules based on business demands. Benefits of the Lithographic Press Operator -Competitive compensation ranging from $25.00 + hourly (dependent on experience). -Additional $1.00 per hour night shift differential. -Opportunities for career progression and professional development Key Responsibilities of the Lithographic Press Operator -Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our KBA (Koenig & Bauer) press. -Conduct make-ready tasks, adjusting press components using hand tools. -Replace worn rollers, regulate pressure between press rollers, and maintain ink distribution. -Perform color or register corrections and press adjustments to uphold quality specifications. -Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of offset presswork procedures and materials. -Read job specifications to determine necessary press setup materials. -Follow operational instructions to ensure safe equipment use and quality output. -Make adjustments to feeder and feed board, demonstrating skill in performing routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs. -Guide junior-level press assistants.
