Job Description

Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm Pay Range : $16 – $20 Summary: Uses multiple tools and machines to assemble, package, and pick parts according to extremely detailed process instructions given. Process set-ups and procedures, product measurement and qualification, process troubleshooting, and a very keen attention to detail and direction is needed for jobs in this department. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Uses appropriate tools or machines to produce products in accordance with production needs. 2. Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions that must be followed exactly. A very keen attention to detail is a must while deviating from any specific instruction will NOT be tolerated. 3. Completes set-up's in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures so to ensure parts are made properly. 4. Records length of time and quantity of materials used for each job. 5. Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed. 6. Helps to train fellow employees or temps on machines, reading blueprints, understanding routings, and policies. 7. Maintains a very clean work area since most of work orders need a cleaner environment than what is maintained on the general production floor. 8. Adheres to established clean room policies and procedures paying special attention to quality and safety regulations. 9. Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and/or personal injuries. 10. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with work order and training guidelines. 11. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and equivalent combination of education and experience.
