Position: Grounds Maintenance Location: Georgetown, KY Pay: $16 an hour Schedule: 8 am-1 pm | Mon-Fri Specialty: Residental apartments Key Responsibilities: Landscaping: Mowing, edging, and fertilizing the lawn areas to ensure a neat and manicured appearance. Pruning trees, shrubs, and hedges to promote healthy growth and maintain attractive landscaping. Trash and Debris Removal: Regularly removing litter in the dog park, debris, and fallen leaves from the grounds to maintain cleanliness. Pathway and Parking Lot Care: Sweeping, cleaning, and repairing pathways and parking lots to ensure safety and a well-maintained appearance. Seasonal Maintenance: Snow removal in the winter and leaf removal in the fall to ensure safe and clean walkways and common areas. A great candidate will have the following: -2-3 years of proven experience in grounds maintenance or related field -Knowledge of landscaping and horticultural practices. -Ability to operate and maintain ground equipment and tools. -Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. -Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions. Skills and Abilities: -Strong work ethic and reliability. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance. -Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. -Understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to grounds maintenance activities.
