Mechanical Engineer Job Details Georgetown, Kentucky 4 days one week, 3 days a week for 2 weeks |7:00 pm-7:20 am | At Least $684.00 per week ? Overtime possible/mandatory ? Direct Hire Mechanical Engineer Requirements ? Mechanical Engineering degree ? • 2-5 years’ experience as an engineer in a manufacturing facility preferred ? • Strong knowledge of current use & leading-edge technologies ? • Able to learn about new products / technologies quickly ? • Strong knowledge of material processing, tooling and part fabrication ? • Proficient computer skills ? • Strong written and oral communication skills About the Mechanical Engineer Role ? Take ownership for our manufacturing machines and are expected to be able and willing to troubleshoot machines along with our maintenance technicians. ? • Analyzes equipment downtime to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs ? • Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design and develop equipment, fixturing, procedures, processes, tooling and/or automation ? • Assesses process capabilities, identifies improvement opportunities and integrates new processes & equipment to maximize manufacturing throughput and velocity ? • Conducts equipment / process audits and leads necessary improvement efforts ? • Develops process documentation to meet quality system and safety requirements ? • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout ? • Responsible for KPI and manufacturing process flow improvements ? • Trains and/or provides work direction to engineering technicians, maintenance associates, manufacturing engineers and manufacturing personnel ? • Utilize Design of Experiments and process analysis to insure smooth transition from pre-production to production. ? • Coordinate and participate in activities as needed with plant personnel (i.e. Project Engineering, Production Leader, Production Control, Quality Engineering, etc.) ? • Be present for pre-production trials and equipment buy-off to make sure all necessary materials and equipment are in place for production. ? • Assist in troubleshooting production equipment & recommend corrective actions. ? • Maintain production documentation (i.e.-Setup instructions, work instruction, etc.) ? • Develop machine specifications for new equipment, machines and tooling. ? • Provides support on the manufacturing floor ? • Performs other job-related duties as assigned Why Work With Our Client Once hired on, employees can expect: ? • 12-hour shifts, 7:00 – 7:20, 4 days week one, 3 days week two ? • Overtime paid at time and a half after 36 hours in one week and after 40 the following ? • Shift Differential: additional pay of $3.00 for all hours worked between 11pm – 7:20am and $0.30 cents for all hours worked between 3pm – 11:20pm ? • Skill Based Pay System – Raises based on how fast you successfully pass ? evaluations ? • Possible production bonuses, incentive bonuses and holiday bonuses ? • Choice of 16 Medical / Dental / Vison / Insurance plans available on your first day of employment ? • Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts available on your first day of employment ? • Paid Vacation in your first year ? • Paid Emergency Absence Days ? • Paid Life Insurance 2X annual salary to cap of $200,000 ? • Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance after 1 year of full-time employment ? • Paid flame retardant, laundered uniforms upon hire ? • $225 voucher for Prescription OSHA approved Safety Glasses ? • $150 dollars for Metatarsal Safety Boots from National Workwear every year ? • 401K Company match dollar for dollar up to 3% and $0.50 cents on the dollar on 4% and 5% ? • 401K Company eligible after 6 months of full-time employment following the first of a new quarter ? • Immediate Holiday Pay ? • Immediate Paid Bereavement About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
