Payroll Team Member Job Details Georgetown, Kentucky Monday- Friday | 7:00 am- 4:00 pm | $25.00 Overtime possible/ mandatory Temporary Payroll Team Member Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required preferred 3-5 years of related experience required unless payroll skill is extensive Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, specifically Microsoft Excel Proficient with UKG payroll software. Alternately, UltiPro and Kronos experience is welcome. About the Payroll Team Member Role Responsible for the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll for over 300 Team Members; Ensures accuracy of approved timesheets, tracks and deducts all garnishments, Chapter 12, tax levies, child support orders, 401K loan deductions along with other miscellaneous payroll deductions Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, Human Resources, and Accounting to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports) Updates payroll records by entering changes in pay, exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, scheduling, and job title and department/division transfers.
