Design or redesign mechanical devices using common sense, engineering principles, and computer-aided design Develop and test prototypes of devices Source and work with vendors for solutions and pricing Generate quotes for projects Analyze test results and modify the design as needed Oversee the manufacturing process for the device Troubleshoot equipment in multiple manufacturing locations over the phone or on-site Be willing to travel to other locations

Prefer a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering degree, but will consider the combination of experience and education. SolidWorks experience required. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Machine shop experience preferred Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Detail oriented. Strong problem-solving skills Background that includes exposure to Lean Mfg., Kanban, Kaizen, 5-S, and Six Sigma methodology
