Job Description

As The Medical Receptionist, You Can Be Expected To: Directly Involve Patient Care And Daily Efficiency Flow. They Require Primary Focus. Follow Up By Directing All Messages To Appropriate Sources (Patient Requests, Calls To Doctors, Billing Inquiries, Etc.) Triage Calls (Must Know How To Define Medical Conditions And Patient Priority) Screen Patients For Insurance Eligibility Know What Questions Not To Answer (E.G. Regarding Medical Advice) Greet And Check Patients Into The Office Upon Arrival Update Patient Information (What Specifically?- Address, Phone, Insurance)…(On All Patients Or On Those Not Seen For A Certain Amount Of Time?) Reschedule Patients (When Necessary Changes Dictate) Get Pre-Authorization If Required Confirm Dates With Everyone (Patient And Surgery Assistant)The Day Before Surgery Prepare New Patient Chart Or Enter Data Into Ehr Performs Other Administrative Duties And Tasks As Assigned.

Job Requirements

Must Have At Least 1 Year (2 Preferred) In Recent, Busy Medical Practice! Exceptional Patient Care And Friendliness Ability To Maintain Effective And Organized Systems To Ensure Timely Patient Flow Must Have Leadership Skills, The Ability To Work On Your Own, And Be A Problem-Solver Looking For Someone Dedicated, Punctual, Caring, And A Team Player!
