Crown Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Cycle Counter in the Roselle area. As a Cycle Counter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring seamless operations within our organization. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and collaborating with various departments to optimize inventory management processes. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Shift hours are 6am-2:30pm. Pay will be based on experience and ranges up to $23/hour. Key Responsibilities of the Cycle Counter: Perform regular cycle counts of inventory items to maintain accurate stock levels. Utilize various counting methods and tools to ensure precision and efficiency. Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential issues. Work closely with the inventory management team to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Reconcile physical inventory counts with computerized records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Collaborate with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and other relevant departments to gather accurate information about inventory movements and adjustments. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of inventory counts, adjustments, and variances. Prepare reports detailing inventory levels and discrepancies for management review. Identify inefficiencies in inventory management processes and suggest improvements to enhance accuracy, productivity, and overall operations. Provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel on proper inventory handling techniques and cycle counting procedures. Utilize inventory management software and tools to conduct cycle counts, track inventory movements, and generate reports.
Qualifications of the Cycle Counter: Proven experience in cycle counting, inventory control, or related field. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Familiarity with inventory management software and tools. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
