Position: Occupational Therapist Location: Middletown, OH Job Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire) Responsibilities: -Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ functional abilities, considering physical, cognitive, and emotional aspects. -Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine individualized treatment goals. -Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. -Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ independence and functional capabilities. -Recommend and provide training on the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support patients in daily activities. -Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve daily functioning and promote overall well-being. -Provide guidance on home exercises and activities to reinforce therapeutic interventions. -Work collaboratively with physicians, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. -Regularly assess and document patient progress. -Modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. -Stay abreast of current trends and advancements in occupational therapy. -Pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
