Position: Medical Assistant Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Type: Full Time ( Temp to Hire) Responsibilities: -Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. -Record patient vitals and maintain accurate medical records. -Administer medications as directed by physicians. -Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures. -Prepare and sterilize medical instruments. -Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and general health. -Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient files. -Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Requirements: -High school diploma or equivalent. -Certificate that you completed the MA program or the Associate’s degree. (Does NOT require them to be certified or registered through the following organizations: AAMA, AMT, NHA, and NCCT) -Current CPR certification. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. -Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. -Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
