Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to fill openings with Western State in Hopkinsville, KY. Currently, our client is paying anywhere from $16.00-$19.50/hour. Alt PM shift, or 6:15 PM-5:15 AM (4 times/week) These are all full-time positions, with every other weekend required REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Certified Nurse Aides (CNA), certified by the state of KY. Verified on the Kentucky Board of Nursing website. Appearance must be professional, and applicant must be willing to have nails no longer than 1/4 in. Jewelry must be kept to minimum. If facial piercings, must be willing to remove. CNA will assist patients and staff on different wards. DUTIES: Daily care of geriatric psychiatric patients, can include bathing, changing, feeding patients. CNAs are also responsible for daily care of their patients. CNA’s will assist residents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) which will include but are not limited to toileting, assist personal hygiene, transferring, assist food intake and document necessary information. Job may require standing for 8-12 hours depending on the shift worked. Job does require some lifting, turning, assisting with baths, using gate belt. Must be able to take vital signs and accurately chart. Must be able to read/write English. CNAs work under the supervision of the ward nurse and may be asked to work in different areas of the nursing facility. CNAs do work with geriatric psychiatric patients must be comfortable in that environment.
