Job Description

Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Quality Engineers and Supply Quality Engineers to fill openings with a local Manufacturing company in Hopkinsville, KY. Supply Quality Engineer works with the supplier Must have 3-5 years experience Pay is: $33-$40/hour (depending on experience and will be discussed at time of interview with client). Shift: 1st- must be flexible and available from 6 AM-5 PM, Monday-Friday, and some weekends as needed. The responsibilities of the Supply Quality Engineer include securing supplies and parts for the assembly line, reviewing engineering and manufacturing specifications, monitoring materials for any defects, and resolving quality issues. To be successful as a supplier quality engineer, you should have excellent analytical and technical skills with strong attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-notch supplier quality engineer should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and an eye for supply quality control. Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities: -Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes. -Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error, and determining levels of confidence. -Develops experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques. -Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods. -Maintains statistical process controls by applying demerit/unit, zone charting, x2 charts for distributions and individual-medial/range for multi-stream processes. -Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests. -Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; and making recommendations. -Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies, and maintaining ASQ-certified quality engineer qualification. -Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. -Ensures products adhere to company and industry quality standards. -Brainstorms ideas to create solutions for identified problems. -Must have quality experience in automotive environment -Must have degree in industrial or manufacturing setting Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
