MRI Tech Job Details Louisville KY | $45 per hour; $5 shift difference* after 2pm and on weekend days | Shifts Available (a) Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm (b) Wed – Thurs 9am – 9pm (c) Tues – Fri 10:30am – 9pm & Sat 8am – 4:30pm Temp/Temp with intent to hire MRI Tech Requirements Associates Degree(minimum) in Radiology or completion of a 2-year accredited radiology program 3 years or more experience as MRI Tech Valid American Registry of Radiologic Tech certification in Radiology [ARRT (R)] Basic Life Skills (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire Knowledge of MRI routine to complete protocols and procedures Operation of MRI and applicable ancillary equipment About the MRI Tech Role Receives/ Relays and documents electronic orders for medical records Evaluates images for quality, to ensure proper identification is recorded Performs complete procedure using MR protocols or as prescribed by licensed independent practitioner Provides education to patients and other healthcare providers Ability to provide accurate documentation; Professionally interact with coworkers, clients, and patients Ability to work independently and multitask Performs other related duties as assigned.
