Homecare Aide Job Details Location: Louisville, KY Schedule: 24–30 hours per week, must be available between 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Pay: $16.97 per hour Position Type: Temp with Intent to Hire About the Homecare Aide Role Crown Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Homecare Aide to support elderly individuals and persons with disabilities in their homes or care facilities in Louisville, KY. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, non-medical personal care, homemaking tasks, and providing companionship. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, mobility, and medication reminders. Provide companionship through conversation, social activities, escorting to appointments, and engaging in recreational tasks. Perform light housekeeping duties such as changing linens, vacuuming, laundry, dusting, and organizing. Plan and prepare meals, assist with grocery shopping and cleanup. Run errands such as picking up prescriptions or completing light shopping. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to care plans. Follow all client-specific safety, health, and care instructions. Submit accurate and timely documentation (e.g. timesheets, reports). Communicate regularly with the Homecare Director. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous homecare or personal care experience preferred but not required (training provided). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
