Job Description

Job Title: Lead Installer Location: Franklin, OH (with travel) Crown Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Installer to join our team in Franklin, OH. The Lead Installer will oversee installation activities, supervise installation crews, and ensure the timely and successful completion of projects. This position requires travel, with all expenses paid and a per diem provided. Job Summary: The Lead Installer will be responsible for: -Supervising installation activities of company staff and subcontractors. -Ensuring the integrity of the product manufactured and/or shipped from the premises or any authorized subcontractor. -Exceeding expectations of customers. -Maintaining a healthy and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities: -Set up and operate CNC Press Brake operations, saw, and CNC machining. -Produce quality parts using Brake Press machine, CNC machining, and saw operations. -Maintain a clean and orderly department. -Perform operator preventive maintenance on machines as needed. Essential Knowledge and Skills: -Welding, fabrication, and installation skills. -Ability to read engineering drawings and prepare preliminary sketches. -Site leadership skills. Education and Training: -Welding certification (provided by the company). -Technical course related to fabrication/installation or on-the-job training. -First aid and safety procedures (provided by the company). -Forklift and Manlift Certifications (provided by the company). Work Environment/Physical Demands: -General office and warehouse/shop environment. -Driving forklift and company truck. -Physical labor required: lifting, handling heavy equipment, overhead work from scaffold, ladder, or manlift. -Overnight, weekend, shift work; long hours. Authority, Responsibilities, and Evaluation: -Supervise installation activities for projects assigned to company resources and/or authorized subcontractors. -Ensure adherence to production schedules and supervise installation activities through project completion. -Request purchasing of project materials and coordinate shipping/receiving activities. -Ensure staff adherence to shop safety standards and procedures. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: -Learn installation techniques of other types of conveyor equipment. -Prepare sketches of equipment. -Submit authorized expense sheets for all charges to the company’s credit cards. Other Job Criteria: -Demonstrates sound leadership and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively. -Makes best use of time to accomplish objectives and manages priorities effectively. -Exhibits integrity and professionalism in all efforts. -Requires minimal outside direction in getting the job done. -Respects confidentiality and maintains cooperative working relationships with all employees.
