Certified Medical Assistant Job Details Columbus Ohio Monday -Friday | 8:30 am-5:00 pm $18/hr-$21/hr based on experience CMA Requirements Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification 1 year of patient care as a CMA required EPIC experience preferred Willing to travel to other offices in Columbus Market (once a week) COVID vaccine and FLU required (NO exemptions) About the CMA Role As a CMA, your responsibilities will include: Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and document all information in the patient’s chart Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; and keeping patient information confidential. Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
