Responsibilities:
Develop CNC programs based on engineering blueprints, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
Analyze engineering drawings and CAD models to determine the most efficient machining processes.
Select appropriate cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates to optimize production.
Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, tooling, and fixtures.
Perform test runs to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of CNC programs.
Make adjustments to programs and machine settings as needed for quality and productivity improvement.
Collaborate with engineers and machinists to resolve any technical issues or challenges during the programming and machining processes.
Monitor the machining process to detect any abnormalities or deviations from specifications.
Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
?Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old
Have HSD/GED additional technical certifications or vocational training is preferred.
Have a good work history
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Be able to multi-task while paying attention to detail
Have mechanical ability
Pass a Mechanical Comprehension test in-office
Previous work-related experience:
Mechanics
Blueprint reading
Ability to read/ Operate rulers
Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines such as milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
SHIFT HOURS:
1st Shift Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm – M-F
2nd Shift Hours: 3:00 pm – 1:00 am – M-T
