Highway Laborer Job Details Location: Meade, KY Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7 AM – 4 PM (or until work is done) may include weekends as needed Pay: $17.00/hour Type: Temp to Hire Highway Laborer Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of constructions of highway maintenance experience About the Highway Laborer Role Highway laborers perform a wide range of tasks involving physical labor on highway projects. These tasks may include clearing brush and grass, loading and unloading trucks, removing debris, digging ditches, picking up litter, and mowing grass. They may also be involved in tasks like paving roads and potholes, running errands, moving or hauling supplies, and building materials. Additionally, they may act as flagmen for traffic control, operate hand-powered tools, and assist with equipment maintenance.
