Location: Shelbyville, KY
Schedule: 3rd shift. 10 pm – 6:30 am. Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $21.14/hour + $0.75/hour shift differential
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
About the Quality Technician Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a meticulous and skilled Quality Technician to join a high-performing team in Shelbyville, KY. This role focuses on ensuring product quality, conducting tests, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. If you are detail-oriented with experience in quality assurance processes, this position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct off-line testing and inspections to ensure product quality.
Complete customer feedback investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Participate in corrective and preventive action processes.
Assist with process capability studies as required.
Train plant personnel in the GIQ quality system.
Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA) and Certificates of Compliance (COC) as required.
Participate in customer visits and audits.
Utilize quality concepts and processes, including statistical basics and team-based problem-solving techniques.
Operate and assess measurement and test equipment (M&TE) for precision and accuracy, ensuring standards traceability.
Apply sampling plans, inspection, and testing techniques.
Conduct quality audits and document findings to drive improvement.
Manage nonconforming materials according to established processes.
Quality Technician Requirements
Experience in quality assurance or a related field is required.
Strong understanding of quality concepts, tools, and processes, including statistical analysis.
Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment (M&TE) and assessing tool accuracy.
Ability to interpret data and apply continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
