Service Technician
SERVICE TECHNICIAN DETAILS
1st Shift |
Location: Dayton, OH.
About the Service Technician role
-Mechanical service experience is helpful, but we will train the right person.
-Perform all diagnostics and analysis to trouble-shoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Install, upgrade, remove, and maintain equipment.
-Complete scheduled service orders daily.
-Complete paperwork related to tasks, including collecting payment, in an accurate and timely manner.
-Assist other employees with delivery and installation of products/equipment.
-Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
-Communicate in a positive manner with customers and maintain positive public relations for the company.
-Safe operation of a Company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal DOT laws.
-Identify additional services that may be required and present all options to the consumer.
-Install pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves for water treatment equipment using hand or power tools.
-Follow all rules and regulations about safety and policies.
-Complete general warehouse/facility duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements
-High school diploma or GED
-Valid Drivers License
-Minimum two years of related technical experience. TCEQ certification, or plumbing experience a plus.
-Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of a residential product, for example, cable/internet,
HVAC, plumbing, flooring, windows/doors
-Must wear safety equipment as required, most tasks require some physical exertion.
-Ability to lift/move equipment from 50-80 lbs.
-Kneel/bend for extended periods.
-Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
-Maintain a valid driver’s license and ability to drive for extended periods (2-3 hours).
-Navigate throughout the local area.
-Ability to perform basic shop repairs (installation, start-up, troubleshooting) and water testing.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
