Job Summary:
As a Commercial Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of construction materials and building supplies to our customers within the local area. Your primary duties will involve operating commercial trucks, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring the timely and accurate transport of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate commercial trucks, including semi-trucks and box trucks, to transport construction materials and building supplies
– Load and unload materials at customer job sites, using appropriate equipment and techniques
– Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws and regulations
– Provide excellent customer service by delivering materials on time and in good condition
– Assist with inventory management and record-keeping as needed
– Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
– Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
– Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial truck driver or in a similar delivery role
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
– Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
– Flexible schedule to accommodate delivery needs, including early mornings and occasional weekends
Compensation and Benefits:
