Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a General Laborer.
General Laborer Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Location: Columbus, OH
General Laborer Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs overhead consistently throughout the day.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and consistently.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions consistently.
- Willingness to cross-train in other areas.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to complete various assigned tasks.
- Ability to follow established workplace safety procedures.
About the General Laborer Role
As a General Laborer, your responsibilities will include:
- Sort incoming battery shipments by size, type, or condition.
- Tape batteries together as needed for processing or repackaging.
- Lift and handle batteries and other materials throughout the workday.
- Perform repetitive general labor tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Organize materials and maintain orderly work areas.
- Cross-train and assist in other areas as needed.
- Maintain productivity while completing assigned tasks.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all established safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Perform additional general labor duties as assigned.
