Material Handler Job Details
Location: Carrollton, KY
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr , 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr, 2nd Shift: 9:00 PM–7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr , 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr, 2nd Shift: 9:00 PM–7:30 AM
Material Handler Requirements/Qualifications
- Entry-level opportunity.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to add, subtract, and multiply.
- Ability to work in dusty and outdoor environments.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform physically demanding housekeeping and material-handling duties.
- Comfortable working around dirt, dust, and debris.
- Ability to operate equipment as assigned.
- Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness and organization.
About the Material Handler Role
As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include:
- Cut and dump bags into the hopper for rework and reuse.
- Ensure organic materials flow properly through the shakers.
- Communicate with heavy equipment operators to keep shakers supplied.
- Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the plant.
- Push brooms and operate sweepers to maintain plant cleanliness.
- Operate various equipment as needed.
- Assist on a small packing line by manually filling and sealing bags.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support daily plant and production operations.
