Internal Job Description:
Requirements of the Maintenance Mechanic
– 3 years general, mechanical, and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

– Background: No felonies or misdemeanors going back 7 years

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic
– Performs light repairs to building mechanical systems including electrical, HVAC, and pneumatic.
– Sources and controls subcontractors, building repairs and preventive maintenance on all mechanical systems.
– West Chester plant mechanic support. (Emergency)
– Follows the preventive maintenance procedures, instructions, and schedule for all manufacturing equipment.
– Prioritizes maintenance and repairs for optimal uptime.
– Sources and stocks spare parts as necessary.
– Works with outside machine shop for special fixtures, tooling, and modifications to existing parts.
– Provides tools to production as necessary for machine adjustments and changeovers.
– Have welding experience.
– Works with Supervision and Management on team projects involving building and machinery improvements.
– Involved in sourcing suppliers for machines, fixtures, assemblies, and PLC programming. Have computer skills and experience using Microsoft office 365.
