Schedule: Friday – Sunday
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a Robot Weld Technician – Level I to support robotic welding operations in Shelbyville, KY. This role focuses on setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining robotic welding equipment while supporting production teams and improving processes.
This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing or welding experience who is interested in working with automation and advanced equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment
- Perform basic programming adjustments, including position points and arc start files
- Adjust fixtures, tooling, and sensors as needed
- Support welding operations and maintain quality standards
- Perform preventative maintenance on robotic welding systems
- Assist with training operators and team members on equipment use
- Work with Maintenance and Engineering teams to resolve equipment or process issues
- Provide technical support to production teams
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor consumables and maintain proper inventory levels
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or welding experience preferred
- Experience with robotics, fixtures, or GMAW is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Basic computer skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
