Material Handler
Shelbyville, KY
Pay: $18.29/hour
Full-Time | 1st Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Material Handler Requirements
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately verify tags, labels, and product information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks while maintaining accurate shipping and receiving documentation
- Verify tags, markings, and labels for accuracy
- Operate lift trucks and transport materials between production areas, warehouses, and storage locations
- Maintain parts inventory and assist with inventory counts
- Arrange, organize, and sort warehouse stock
- Prepare labels, stencils, and product identification materials
- Move materials and finished products to designated locations
- Assemble, pack, seal, label, and stage products for shipment
- Report mechanical, electrical, or operational concerns to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in all safety initiatives and follow good manufacturing practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned
