Maysville, KY
Pay: $47.25/hour

Cath Lab RN Requirements
- Active RN license applicable to Kentucky
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Minimum of two years of recent Cath Lab or cardiac procedural nursing experience
- Strong cardiac-assessment and patient-monitoring skills
- Experience administering medications and IV therapies
- Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and related safety practices
- Strong clinical-documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary clinical teams
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Complete pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for procedures.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor cardiac rhythm, vital signs, and patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
- Assist physicians and the Cath Lab team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Provide post-procedure monitoring and nursing care.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate clinical and procedural documentation.
- Follow all patient-safety, medication-safety, and infection-control procedures.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other members of the clinical team.
- Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.
