Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Nights
Location: Louisville, KY
Pay: $28.88/hour

Schedule Information
- Day shift
- 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
- 12-hour shifts
Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant credential
- Minimum of one year of recent patient-care experience
- Previous hospital or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Ability to provide safe and compassionate overnight patient care
- Experience assisting with activities of daily living
- Ability to obtain and report vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of patient mobility, transfer, and repositioning procedures
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Ability to work effectively with nurses and other members of the rehabilitation team
- Commitment to patient safety, dignity, privacy, and comfort
Key Responsibilities
- Assist rehabilitation patients with activities of daily living and overnight care needs.
- Support patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, turning, and repositioning.
- Obtain and report vital signs as directed.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition, behavior, comfort, or safety.
- Promptly report patient concerns and changes to licensed nursing staff.
- Answer call lights and respond to patient needs.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the night.
- Assist nursing staff with assigned patient-care tasks.
- Document completed care using the facility’s electronic documentation system.
- Follow all infection-control, patient-safety, and confidentiality procedures.
- Perform additional duties within the nursing assistant’s scope of practice.
