Somerset, KY
Pay: $31.50/hour

Schedule Information
- Day shift
- 13-week assignment
Respiratory Therapist Requirements
- Two years of respiratory therapy experience
- Required respiratory therapy credential and active Kentucky respiratory care license
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to assess respiratory status, provide prescribed treatments, and respond to respiratory emergencies
- Experience with ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and electronic medical records
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ respiratory status and monitor changes in condition.
- Provide respiratory care according to physician orders and facility procedures.
- Administer oxygen, respiratory medications, and prescribed treatments.
- Assist with airway management and mechanical ventilation.
- Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment.
- Evaluate and document patients’ responses to therapy.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
- Follow patient safety and infection control procedures.
