Tarper Requirements/Qualifications
- Good work history required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to lift and move heavy tarps.
- Ability to work safely around equipment and machinery.
- Smoke-free facility.
About the Tarper Role
As a Tarper, your responsibilities will include:
As a Tarper, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate equipment used to cover semi-truck loads with tarps.
- Load tarps onto the tarp machine.
- Monitor the tarp machine during operation.
- Secure tarps using bungee cords and straps.
- Perform physically demanding lifting and movement throughout the shift.
- Inspect tarps and equipment before use.
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
