Material Handler
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Some mandatory Saturdays
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (as applicable)

About the Material Handler Role
Crown Staffing is seeking an entry-level Material Handler for a plastic fabrication company in Indianapolis, IN. This role supports shipping, fabrication, and production operations, including working with fiberglass materials and assisting with HVAC unit installation components. Candidates will be cross-trained in multiple departments, making this a great opportunity to build manufacturing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and organizing materials and supplies
- Record inventory locations accurately
- Monitor stock levels and report material shortages
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations
- Operate and assist with production machinery as trained
- Handle fiberglass materials used in plastic fabrication and HVAC components
- Support installation-related preparation tasks
- Cross-train and assist in other departments as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
Requirements & Qualifications
- Entry-level position; prior manufacturing or warehouse experience a plus
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple departments
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work mandatory Saturdays as required
