Night Shift Operator
Bardstown, KY
Pay: $18.00/hour
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule Information
- 3rd Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
- Overtime possible/mandatory
Training Schedule
- New hires will train on day shift before transitioning to nights
- Training Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Rotating Schedule
Week 1:
- Work Monday & Tuesday
- Off Wednesday & Thursday
- Work Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Approximately 48 hours
Week 2:
- Off Monday & Tuesday
- Work Wednesday & Thursday
- Off Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Approximately 36 hours
Night Shift Operator Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand, move, and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work a rotating schedule and overtime as needed
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow production instructions and safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production equipment and ensure efficient operation
- Monitor feed bags as they are filled during production
- Guide bags through conveyor systems for sealing
- Build pallets containing approximately 40 bags each
- Maintain steady production flow throughout the shift
- Perform quality checks and report production issues
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety procedures and production standards
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned
