Forklift Operator Requirements
- Previous forklift experience required
- Inventory control and replenishment experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers, inventory counts, and product tracking
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the entire shift
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
About the Forklift Operator Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for a warehouse facility in Louisville, KY. This position combines inventory management responsibilities with forklift operation and computer-based inventory tracking.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with inventory systems, maintaining accurate stock levels, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. While forklift operation is part of the job, approximately 90% of the shift will involve inventory control, replenishment, and warehouse support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift safely to move materials and replenish inventory as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment activities
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Use warehouse computer systems to track inventory and transactions
- Verify product quantities and locations for accuracy
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing warehouse inventory
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Support additional warehouse duties as assigned
