Machine Operator
Hodgenville, KY
Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Temp-to-Hire
Machine Operator Requirements
- Good work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures
- Flexibility to assist in various production areas as needed
- ISO 9001 training or experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders according to production requirements
- Operate machines according to company work instructions and procedures
- Perform measurements and inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete startup and final part inspections within required timeframes
- Make machine adjustments based on measurement data and quality requirements
- Complete daily machine, quality, and production documentation
- Report quality concerns and machine issues to leadership immediately
- Maintain machines by keeping them free of shavings and debris throughout the shift
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Assist with training new employees as needed
- Support continuous improvement and ISO 9001 quality initiatives
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Production Supervisor
