Machine Operator Job Details
Jeffersonville, IN
Pay: $17.00/hour
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift | Available
- 3rd Shift | Available
Training Schedule: All candidates will train on 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) for approximately one month before transitioning to their assigned shift.
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Machine Operator Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of fabrication experience required
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Experience operating press equipment or fabrication machinery preferred
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn multiple processes within the fabrication department
Key Responsibilities
- Operate press equipment and fabrication machinery according to production requirements
- Assist with painting and finishing processes as needed
- Support fabrication operations to produce quality products
- Follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality standards
- Load and unload materials from machinery and workstations
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition
- Assist with material movement and production support tasks
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Perform additional fabrication and manufacturing duties as assigned
