Louisville, KY
Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Cycle Counter Requirements
- Strong knowledge of inventory processes and inventory flow within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel required
- Knowledge of inventory locations and warehouse management systems
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Ability to operate counting scales and inventory counting equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Previous inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and other inventory throughout the facility
- Perform inventory counts using both manual counting methods and counting scales
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with written and electronic inventory records
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with identifying root causes
- Categorize and track inventory errors to support process improvements
- Maintain accurate inventory records within SAP and other systems
- Operate forklifts to access and move inventory as needed
- Support inventory audits and reporting activities
- Work closely with production, warehouse, and inventory teams to ensure inventory accuracy
- Complete additional inventory control and warehouse duties as assigned
