Production Supervisor
Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $24.00–$26.00/hour

Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Extended hours and weekend work may be required
Production Supervisor Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least three years of supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Experience supervising production employees and coordinating workloads
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math and decision-making skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of machinery and packaging equipment preferred
- Understanding of quality systems, including ISO 9001
- Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing preferred
- Ability to use tape measures, digital calipers, and other measuring tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise up to 30 hourly production employees.
- Schedule departmental production and ensure requirements are met.
- Adjust staffing based on production workload.
- Coordinate schedules and operational requirements with other departments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Evaluate processes and identify ways to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Enforce company policies related to safety, quality, attendance, discipline, and performance.
- Lead continuous-improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Communicate expectations and production updates clearly to employees and leadership.
