Material Handler
Whitestown, IN
Pay: $17.00/hour
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule Information
- Monday–Thursday
- 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Material Handler Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy warehouse without climate control
- Ability to read and follow instructions on a computer screen
- Attention to detail when identifying products and picking orders
- Ability to work safely around automated warehouse equipment
- Flexibility to work in different warehouse areas as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and sort orders using warehouse computers, software, and automated equipment.
- Work in assigned areas, which may include HQS, semi-automated lanes, pallet pick, and flow rack.
- Coordinate with team members to keep orders moving accurately and efficiently.
- Follow inventory procedures to help reduce errors and product loss.
- Keep work areas clear of trash and debris, clean spills, and follow recycling and waste-removal procedures.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and operating instructions.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.
