Street Maintenance
Clarksville, IN
Pay: $16.04/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Collect residential garbage from approximately 400 homes per day.
- Work as part of a three-person collection crew consisting of one driver and two collection workers.
- Lift and tip residential garbage into collection trucks.
- Assist with collecting approximately 22,000 pounds of garbage per truck each day.
- Follow assigned collection routes and maintain an efficient work pace.
- Follow all safety procedures while working around collection trucks and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
- Work required overtime when routes cannot be completed during scheduled hours.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to safely lift and move residential garbage.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Previous labor, sanitation, waste collection, or outdoor work experience is a plus but not required.
