Job Description
Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift
Plainfield, IN
Pay: $17.00/hour
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule Information
- Current schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM
- Starting in November: 6:00 PM–4:30 AM
- Weekend availability required when needed
- Flexibility with shift times required
Forklift Operator Requirements
- Experience operating a sit-down LP propane forklift
- Ability to use a handheld scanner and tablet
- Strong attention to detail when picking, stacking, and recording inventory
- Ability to complete paperwork legibly and accurately
- Willingness to assist with packaging, cleaning, and facility maintenance
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Commitment to warehouse safety and quality procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down LP forklift to move, stage, stack, and transport seed products throughout the warehouse.
- Pick individual items and stack pallets accurately.
- Load and unload freight from semi-trailers.
- Use handheld scanners and tablets to record inventory transactions.
- Check product and inventory information for accuracy.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
