Job Description
Manufacturing Associate – 3rd Shift
Louisville, KY
Pay: $17.50/hour
Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 10:00 PM–6:00 AM
- Mandatory overtime
- Must be available to work overtime, alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and scheduled shutdowns when required
Manufacturing Associate Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months of manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer
- Ability to read and understand process and work instructions
- Steel-toed boots required
- Strong attendance record
- Dependable and committed to product quality
- Ability to identify problems and recommend process or workplace improvements
- Positive attitude toward coworkers and job responsibilities
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime
- Required PPE will be provided
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly operations to produce completed driveshafts.
- Use hand tools, jigs, fixtures, light power tools, and production equipment.
- Compare components with customer orders and bills of material to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain responsibility for the quantity and quality of completed products.
- Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust components to meet required tolerances and operating specifications.
- Visually inspect parts and completed products according to quality standards.
- Repair products that do not meet requirements or return defective products for rework.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or hydraulic problems encountered during assembly.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance as needed.
- Complete assignments safely and within established production schedules.
- Support total quality-management goals in a team environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform additional manufacturing duties as assigned.
