Lifeguard Job Details
Elizabethtown, KY
Pay: $14.00/hour
Schedule: Monday | 3:45 PM – 7:00 PM
Additional Availability: Must be available to substitute on Saturdays as needed
Lifeguard Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Strong swimming skills and physical stamina
- Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly in emergency situations
- Flexible availability to assist with occasional Saturday coverage
Required Certifications
- Current Lifeguarding Certification (American Red Cross, YMCA, Ellis & Associates, or equivalent)
- Current CPR for Professional Rescuers Certification
- Current First Aid Certification
- Current AED Certification
About the Lifeguard Role
Crown Staffing is seeking dependable and safety-focused Lifeguards for an aquatic facility in Elizabethtown, KY. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons by maintaining constant surveillance of the pool area, enforcing facility rules, and responding to emergencies when needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming areas to ensure patron safety at all times
- Enforce pool rules and facility regulations in a professional manner
- Recognize and respond quickly to emergency situations
- Perform water rescues when necessary
- Administer first aid, CPR, and AED assistance as required
- Inspect pool areas and equipment for safety concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the aquatic facility
- Complete incident and accident reports accurately
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons and guests
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Attend required training sessions and staff meetings
