Job Description
Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) to fill openings with Western State in Hopkinsville, KY.
Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Job Details
Pay Rate: $19.50-$21.00/hour.
Shift: 6:45 AM-8:15 PM, 4 times/week
Location: Hopkinsville, KY
Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Requirements/Qualifications:
- Background Check Required
- Must have an active CMT license
About the Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Role
As a CMT, your responsibilities will include
- Manage daily medications and ensure they are given to patients(prescription or non-prescription).
- Record medication dosages and times they should be administered.
- Observe patients and document any changes (and respond to any calls or signals identifying patient needs).
- CMT will also be required to perform duties of a CNA when necessary (bathing, changing, feeding, etc)
- A CMT in the state of Kentucky must be a Certified Nursing Assistant, as well as have a medication aide certification
