Hours: 5AM-3PM
Internal Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY: Moving between production assignments the Welder is responsible for MIG welding various metals for production.
Key performance objectives in order of priority with projected time allocation:
Welding/Fabrication
75%
Blueprint Reading
10%
Plasma Cutting/ Grinding
5%
Note: Ten percent of time is reserved for ancillary responsibilities, interruptions, and unplanned activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Other duties may be assigned.
Interpersonal Responsibilities/Organizational Responsibilities
1. Adheres to department and company policies, as well as the core values of Stock MHS.
2. Serves as a conduit to all departments and responds to inquiries at all levels of the organization
3. Convey a mindset of teamwork and commitment to learning.
4. Be approachable. Encourage others within the organization to look to you for assistance and problem resolution
Operational Responsibilities
Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job. Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals using MIG welding processes.
Reading and comprehending blueprint and welding process specifications when needed
Fit up complicated but standard structures and weldments involving a considerable number of parts and details, using the clamp and tack method or welding jigs, fixtures and turning rigs.
Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.
Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Maintains reliable and regular attendance.
Ability to remain alert and attentive during work shifts.
Pay is BOE: $18+
The start time is flexible 5am-8am but will only work until 3 pm.
Mon-Thur with OT on Fri
