Schedule: Flexible schedule required; must be available for rotating start times and on-call coverage as needed

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience required
- Prior industrial maintenance experience required
- Must be available for on-call duties as needed
- Must be flexible with work hours and shift assignments
- Experience with lockout/tagout procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
- Must be able to work in a cold environment
- Steel-toe, slip-resistant footwear required
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Resume and interview required
- Background check and drug screen required
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility and production equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment issues
- Assemble equipment prior to operation and disassemble equipment for sanitation
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools
- Maintain and service material handling equipment
- Charge and change batteries for powered industrial equipment
- Observe equipment operation and diagnose mechanical issues
- Complete and document work orders in a timely manner
- Maintain maintenance inventory and supplies
- Update maintenance and repair records in asset management software
- Design, implement, and review daily operator checklist procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and all federal, state, and local regulations
- Assist other maintenance personnel as needed
