Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Somerset, KY
Pay: $41.00/hour
Travel Assignment | 13 Weeks
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab or cardiovascular procedural experience required
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, procedural support, and patient care practices
- Experience working with cath lab imaging systems, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and EHR systems
- Current certification or licensure required based on role and facility requirements
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment while maintaining professionalism and patient safety
Key Responsibilities
- Support cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing procedure rooms, equipment, and patients
- Assist the procedural team while maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures
- Monitor and document patient information, procedural activity, and equipment use within role scope
- Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and preparation before and after procedures
- Operate and support cath lab imaging, monitoring, and procedural equipment as assigned
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff
- Follow all facility safety, infection prevention, and procedural guidelines
- Support quality patient care throughout the cath lab process
