General Laborer Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand tools preferred
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Professional attitude and customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Steel-toed shoes required
- Previous installation, warehouse, or construction experience is a plus
About the General Laborer Role
Crown Staffing is hiring Commercial Furniture Installers / General Laborers for a locally owned commercial furniture installation company in Lexington, KY. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work professionally at customer locations.
Employees will assist with the delivery, assembly, installation, relocation, and warehousing of commercial furniture systems in office and business environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver and install commercial furniture including desks, workstations, shelving, seating, and filing systems
- Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and installation specifications
- Safely load and unload furniture and materials from trucks
- Receive, organize, and warehouse incoming products
- Use hand tools to assemble and install furniture components
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Interact professionally with customers and team members
- Assist with furniture reconfigurations and relocations as needed
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company guidelines
